I was so hungry when I got done working I ate a Big Mac left over sitting out from lunchtime. This was like eight hours later. I figured well, it was cool in the room, it was completely wrapped up, and yeah, McD s makes darn sure that the meat is cooked well. Probably irradiates it too, and also the lettuce. LOL maybe the special sauce too.

Anyway, even before I was done, I was having second thoughts and considered making myself throw it up, but I didn t.

Finally, I had microwaved it first, so maybe that killed some bacteria, but it was extremely delicious, nice and hot and gooey.

But, I am questioning why I have such bad judgement sometimes. I m not a kid I am 53. And I don t like being sick, LOL

So far, so good though.....

But, I will never do it again and neither should anyone else. Bad idea.

Technically, no.

Cooked food items that have been sitting the Temperature danger zone (41-140 degree F) should be tossed out after 4 Hrs. However their are so many additives in fast food I don't think bacteria has a chance - so just base it on your immune system and how well it works.

in an air conditioned room it would be alright ( i've done it before ).

but if it were sitting in the sun or in a car i'd avoid eating it.

there's nothing fresh inside of a big mac except for the salad.

Technically no, because it IS rotting flesh, and after a couple of hours it should be refrigerated. However studies have been done on McDonald's meat and burgers, and it seems that since it is more of a mix rather than a fresh cut of meat, then it is able to go longer without expiring, really. You should be alright, but I don't advise doing it in the future. :)

You shoulden't eat a big mac at all. I quit eating McDonald's 4 years ago. Tried it recently...it tasted discusting.

I ate a whopper once after waking up and finding it on my chest. I had left it there in a drunken stupor before passing out. It taste pretty good but I would not advise it with a Big Mac.

I've seen it done (with a McDonald's double cheeseburger). I don't know how long it had been out but it was room temperature and solid, and this guy ate it, he just kept them in his room like that. I can't vouch for the taste or digestion experience, but I do know he's still alive.

That food is mostly preservatives, anyway.

That's kind of not a wise choice but the burgers are filled with preservatives making it alright

Nah, you can still eat it. You could actually put it in a tupperware and set it in the pantry to save for another 5 years if you want to eat it then.
