Anyone like Long John Silvers?

Question

A lot of people I know have not even heard of it. Their fries are the best fries I have tasted! And their corn.....and fish...and chicken....and...everything else.
My little 8yr old sis, wants me to tell all of you that once when we got it, she was eating chicken, (she will not touch the fish.) and she insisting that it was fish.
It was not fish. The fish has crispier. crunchier texture, the chicken has a smoother texture.

I love Long John Silvers, the corn and the cheddar broccoli bites are soo good. Hush puppies, fish and chicken, umm. Try the Thai sauce next time you go there. I always end up ringing the bell on my way out the door!

oh yeah i love their fish and hushpuppies.... but actually i don't really like their fries that much. it might be because everytime i go there the fries are old or something though. we have a kfc and long john silvers combined restaurant. so no matter if you get chicken or whatever it always kinda smells like fish..

I love LJS but have not been there in months as it's to far from where I live.

I did hear once that their corn is just ordinary corn and they add sugar to give it a sweet taste. I still like it once in a while tho.

I love the crunchy fish and their shrimp but can't stand the tarter sauce they have.

It is one of my favorite places to eat. I always get 3 pieces of chicken 2 hush puppies and extra crumbs with a large drink.



It's very greasy and I can feel my arteries clogging as I eat it, but it's a nice treat to have once and awhile.

Yeh i know i luv there fries yumm haha i try to get my sister to eat the fish all the time and i tell nooo its chicken but she doesn't trust me hehe

LJS around here is not too good - very few of them, but I have seen a new one with a KFC, I believe in the same restaurant.



Sorry to hear about the Denver area ones - I knew some people who worked at LJS in the Denver area - they have probably lost their jobs now.

Yes, indeed. My Mom and I would eat there. They have the best Cole Slaw. Unfortunately, the Long John Silvers in my area and my Mom's area have been closed.

I love Long John Silver its very good i love there fish,chicken there jumbo shrimp some people says it tastes like ARTUER TREACHER it does LONG JOHN SILVERS is the best ATHUER TREACHER is nasty and have ther nerves to b more expensive.

I TOTALLY agree with you.The fries are superb.I love the chicken.And the little pieces of fried batter they serve with the meal is just simply YUM!! Its actually one of my favorite fast food joints.To answer your Question,I LOVE LJS!!!

If you like fried fish in fast food restaurant; I recommend Captain D.; they have pretty good deep fried fish.

They advertise where I live but they closed our Long John Silvers a long time ago. Its a long drive to their nearest location. So I haven't had it in a long long time.

I managed one for a few years. I rarely eat at any restaurants however. I have been in too many kitchens and seen how its done.

they fry it same oil the taste will transfer just like any other product fry in same oil....that fishy taste is stonger than chicken,
