Actually there is a tiny bit of dairy in McDonald's French fries. At the factory they are par boiled in vegetable oil which has a tiny amount of beef flavoring in it. That flavoring does NOT contain beef, nor beef fat. But the flavoring is based on milk and wheat.

However no lactose remains in the flavoring, nor does gluten

So McDonald's French fries are both lactose and gluten free.

They are closed today - Christmas day - but you can go eat some tomorrow after they start serving lunch.

Potatoes don't contain dairy. Fries are just potatoes fried in oil.

They inquired on fryer cross-contamination, and this is the response we received from McDonald’s USA, “Our restaurants make every effort to ensure that cross contamination does not occur. All products are kept separate and are only cooked in oil with like products. Potato, chicken and fish products are all fried separately. We hope this information has been helpful.”

McD's french fries, like many of the chain's products, contain quite strange ingredients. For example, their milkshakes include chicken fat as an ingredient. As for the fries, they are flavoured with wheat and dairy ingredients according to the research I have found. So, if you are on a gluten-free diet or a vegan, they are a bit of a no-no. message me hope I helped :)

Mcdonalds meat was tested and found to contain human flesh. Look it up. It is from the tens of thousands of "missing" children each year in the U.S..
