Okay, so last Thursday I went to an open interview at Subway. Things went well, and I got the second interview. They gave me a background check, and told me I would hear form them as soon as it's done. I have a clean background. So..should I be waiting for the call? What should I be doing/getting? I know I need a food handling license, but I'm sure they'll tell me all of that. How long should wait before moving on(If i need to move on)?
Thanks!:D

I used to work there! Sounds like you've got the job. Yes, dont forget about the food handling license, and there is a slightttt chance for a third interview with corporate or something, but no worries. Training should be soon. Hope this helped :))

Nope, you didn't get hired yet. Every licensed company is required to do criminal background checks on new applicants. Usually you sign off on this during the application fill out. If you signed on the dotted lines, you're giving them consent to a background check. Its usually stated somewhere in the disclaimers/small print section of the app.

All it means is that they are looking at you as a potential candidate. Companies don't background check everyone candidate as a single backgrnd inquiry can be costly to the company. They only check those who has a high probability of being a potential candidate for the job. Store manager decided this.

Give it another 2-3 days and then call them to check on your app status.

Every coming day there seems to be news of horrible crimes being committed to innocent people. We want you to know who these offenders are, some are living among you without your knowledge. eVerify, a criminal background search tool, will provide you that closure.

Instantly run searches and gather information about the people you interact with on a daily basis or people who live around you. You will be shocked with what you find out. The real question is, can you handle the truth?

I would wait. Sounds positive to me. Sometimes it can take over a week for a check.

I think you will. Your background is good. But it's not always guaranteed that you will.
