Don't you think they should open a krispy kreme franchise in the UK and have cafés all over the country- I love krispy kreme donuts! Or maybe Tim Hortons.

There are already Krispy Kreme franchises here. One opened in Portsmouth this week and there is one in Lakeside shopping centre Essex.

We already have Krispy Kreme Donut outlets in Britain. Because of the national problem of obesity and poor health brought about by nutritional deficiencies, I would prefer them not to be here, not that I have any control over where fast food companies choose to operate.

I like doughnuts too,and have heard of Krispy Kremes from friends in Canada, although I've never tasted them.
Only problem is,they have a reputation for putting weight on,and the emphasis at the moment is avoiding anything fattening.
Still a good idea though, wonder why no-one's done it yet.

Krispy Kreme aren't that good IMO. But I know a lot of people like them!
My vote would be for Tim Hortons or even Dunkin Donuts. My absolutely fave is the cherry cake donut or chocolate cake with chocolate glaze...sigh...I can feel a trip to the States coming on!

Yes they should. Us Americans love our doughnuts.
And Krispy Kreme is the absolute best.

Mmmmm.... krispy kreme really are delicious! They do have quite a few here in London, but as Tesco are now selling them, I imagine you will be able to get them very soon in the rest of the country.
Tip: if you stand there long enough deciding which one to have, they give you a free one to try!

I agree about the Krispy Kreme taste ... but the sugar will rot out your teeth even faster than chocolate :-)

Tim Hortons? Ispent a perfectly horrible 1/2 hour in one of those in Ontario. I haven't tried KK's coffee, but the donuts are ok.
