I realize neither is really "healthy", so I guess which is less harmful to your body?

Of these two, McDonald's has the healthiest options. Virtually every menu item at Taco Bell is very carbohydrate heavy (beans, rice, tortillas and so on) and the few options that aren't are so small and unsatisfying that you'll end up eating more. At McDonald's you can easily skip the fries (carbo bombs) and opt for something like a Double Quarter Pounder which has a much lower percentage of carbohydrates and will fill you up for much longer so of course you'd be less likely to snack before your next meal. Y'see it's not the fat in foods that make a person fat, it is of course the sugars and carbohydrates (which your body quickly converts to... sugar).

Depends on what you want to eat. A salad at mcdonald's is healthier than a taco with cheese and everything at Taco Bell. But the Taco is probably healthier than the double big mac with fries and soft drink..

Taco Bell is healthier. If you're gonna eat McDonald's you might as well eat plastic drenched in grease. Taco bell is at least more "real" than McDonald's.

depends on your starting health. neither are great for you... it all depends on what you order. McD has healthy options but most people dont get them. so if you have no self control, stick to taco bell and avoid the fried items. and skip the soda.

Your question is too general. A brand name by itself does not tell you how healthy it is.
Maybe if you compare specific food items..................

Taco Bell and its more 'classy', Study's show that if you consume so many chemicals in your life; your expectancy will lack. Eat healthy and believe me you will feel better. Why chose between those two? I understand these things if it is going out with friends. It seems much cheaper to cook your own dinner or for the same price you can go to a restaurant and have an entree'.

Taco bell is healthier because it consists of the 5 food groups.
1. The shell is grain.
2. You can add lettuce and tomatos to your taco (vegetable)
3.Shredded cheese (dairy)
4. ground beef or grilled chicken (protein)
5. Taco Sauce/Salsa is very healthy.

depends what you order mcdonalds healthy options are actually decent, however, if you order 10 of that stuff you'll get fat on it anyways because of a calorie surplus.
