i heard that there was some disgusting things in ketchup, anyone know what they are?

All processed foods have what are called "filth" limits. Frozen pizza, chocolate and pot pies are particularly high. Anyway, there's no way economical to keep "filth" out processed foods, but as a result of the processing, they are generally not harmful. Just gross.
